The Thin Green Line Foundation is excited to announce the launch of our new school curriculum project. These new curriculum resources will help teachers facilitate meaningful school projects and learning activities that will directly raise awareness of environmental sustainability and the work of Park Rangers in protecting the environment.

The new resources have been created from the ground up by skilled educational professionals and meet the requirements of the Australian Curriculum (AusVELS). Directly addressing the AusVELS Domain of Civics and Citizenship, and the cross-curricular priority area of Sustainability, these teaching materials will support teachers to deliver an innovative and engaging program of learning. The suggested projects have been created for students in Level 3 (Grade 3 & 4), Level 4 (Grade 5 & 6) and Level 5 (Year 7 & 8).

A great way to begin or continue your schools engagement with the Thin Green Line Foundation is during Go Green for Rangers #GG4R, our annual major fund raising initiative running from 17 – 23 November 2014.

Stay tuned on October 1 to find out how you and your students can Go Green this year and help support the vital work of the Foundation and for your chance to WIN an informative talk by Founder and Ranger himself Sean Willmore.

Special thanks to Julian Cross, Brooke Connor and Bec Polinelli for the development of these resources.
