This year was, undoubtedly, one of the most challenging that Rangers have ever faced. Ecological collapse, natural disasters and a global pandemic have rocked the Ranger community, yet, despite these challenges, they continue to inspire conservation action and achieve their mission as nature’s protectors.
The Thin Green Line Foundation’s core purpose is to support Rangers in this mission and throughout the past year we have continued to work towards a better future for Rangers.
This year, with teh help of our dedicated supporters, and through our partners and collaborators, we have provided support to 1430 Rangers, worked with 41 Project Partners and supported conservation activities in 29 countries.

Training goes the distance. We have helped Rangers to develop new skills and self-confidence, all for the betterment of nature.

In 2022, we will strive to support as many Rangers as we can. We’ve already committed funds to help Rangers and Indigenous communities in the Amazon; our LEAD Ranger program will be expanding across Africa and we are working with more field partners to administer emergency support when unexpected circumstances arise.
To learn more about our plans for the future, and how we intend to expand our support programs please read our 2021-2025 Strategy, linked below. As we face the ecological crisis, Rangers are more important than ever. Join us in supporting their frontline conservation work!
We look forward to sharing more of our work with you this year.
