Medical aid and support to rangers in Virunga National Park, DRC

TTGLF provided critical emergency support to park rangers in conflict zones in Virunga National Park, Eastern DRC, under heavy fire from commercial poachers/militia. Medical supplies and rations packs were allocated, so that the rangers could stay in the field with the endangered mountain gorillas and treat the wounded. This included emergency triage, water purification necessary for many ailments (i.e. cholera and dengue fever), bandages, sterile dressings, and other emergency support as required.
