What is Workplace Giving?
Workplace Giving (also known as Payroll Giving) is a great way to support the work of The Thin Green Line Foundation. By choosing to donate through Workplace Giving your contribution – no matter how big or small – will go directly towards supporting Rangers, their families, and communities, all while reducing your taxable salary.
How does it work?
- Workplace Giving allows you to donate a portion of your pre-tax salary to The Thin Green Line Foundation through your employer’s payroll system.
- You won’t be required to keep donation receipts – your employer includes your donations in your payment summary.
- Some employers even choose to match employee donations dollar for dollar. Why not have a conversation with your payroll officer or HR department to see how your workplace can be involved?
- Workplace Giving is a simple, tax-effective way of supporting Rangers on the frontlines of conservation.
How to sign up
Speak with your payroll officer or HR department about setting up your workplace giving arrangement. Your employer can either use a third-party platform (such as Good2Give, Goodcompany or Benevity) or submit the payments directly via bank transfer.
