Project Connect - community conservation projects
The Thin Green Line Foundation aims to reduce ranger deaths by addressing social issues surrounding Park.. In some areas the use of solar cookers can reduce wood consumption and poaching for cooking by 80% By reducing this poaching we reduce conflicts between communities and conservation goals and therefore rangers.. A solar project kit will be given by rangers to the communities thus creating a positive relationship.
