Hammered snare wire has been formed into four concentric circles. Materials are leather, copper and snare wire. Necklace is 50 cm long. Circles pendant is 7.5 – 8cm diameter.

Mulberry Mongoose jewellery is handmade by local women in rural Zambia. Tragically snare poaching causes the slow and painful death of wildlife in the Luangwa Valley. The work of dedicated rangers means these snare traps are collected before they can harm any animals. With skill and passion, the women of Mulberry Mongoose transform this brutal snare wire into stunning jewellery pieces. With each piece of jewellery sold, Mulberry Mongoose donate part of the proceeds to local anti-snare projects.
