Equipping rangers in Thailand
October 8, 2020
Newly equipped for long range patrols in the World Heritage Site bordering Thailand and Cambodia, Thai Rangers send a message of thanks to supporters of The Thin Green Line Foundation.
Their Ranger Care Boxes from Thin Green Line include waterproof shelters, hammocks, and mosquito nets. Part of the elite specially trained Hasadin Unit*. Rangers Seksan Jantasan and Phaipha Maigod patrol areas which include a globally important ecological corridor that offers protection for tigers and elephants crossing national borders. Our thanks to Ms Jananya Huamuangkaew, Freeland Thailand Training coordinator, for interpreting.
(*‘Hasadin’ means elephant in Sanskrit.)
